The Students with Disabilities Unit of Marmara University is working on projects
to make the library, cafeterias, snack-bars, health centres, dormitories, laboratories,
sports centres and similar units more accessible and usable for students with disabilities.
These projects are as follows:
* A web portal is being created so that students
with disabilities can access administrative and academic units. In addition, with
the “Students with Disabilities Contact Form” these students will be able to communicate
every type of request and complaint.
* Students with visual disabilities take exams
in special exam rooms under the supervision of academic personnel.
* There are special toilets for students with
disabilities in the Göztepe Campus.
* There is a lift, toilet, changing room and
seats specially designed for students with disabilities in the sports hall.
