History
By the decision of the Executive Board of Higher Education, dated 04.05.1993 "Foreign Trade" Programs (formal-second instruction), since the academic year of 1993-1994 has been opened and students started to be taken. Since 1993-94, students began to be taken to school. The program provides training since 1994.
Qualification Awarded
Students successfully completing the undergraduate degree courses in the program are eligible to receive associate's degree and students work the Department of Foreign Trade and Foreign Trade Companies with the title of employees in foreign trade.
Specific Admission Requirements
Vocational school graduates have right to enroll without examination, but high school grades are taken into account. Students who have completed the first year have right to transfer. Graduate have right to enroll for the four-year undergraduate programs if they succeed DGS.
Specific Arrangements For Recognition Of Prior Learning (Formal, Non-Formal and Informal)
Students who transfer other university are given exemption from the courses they pass here
Qualification Requirements and Regulations
Students who complete the total credit courses through two-year, they can graduate by completing the internship in 30 working days.
Profile of The Programme
Student acquire foreign trade and management information.Students can do practice in companies. Students can work export-import companies , customs brokerage, international transportation.
Occupational Profiles of Graduates With Examples
Graduates of associate degree program for Foreign Trade of all companies engaged in import and export (foreign trade professional staff) can work. In addition, graduates may be employed Undersecretary of Customs, logistics companies, banks of the foreign exchange departments
Access to Further Studies
Foreign Trade" graduates of associate degree program, when they succeed the exam of Vertical Transfer, offered by ÖSYM, they can transfer to the vertical degree programs "Banking, Banking and Finance, Labor Economics and Industrial Relations, Economics, Economics, Business Administration, Business Information Management, Business-Economics , Capital Markets, International Finance, International Business, International Trade, International Trade and Management "
Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading
The students in Associate and Bachelor of Foreign Trade program, are subject to the the Regulation on Education and Examinations of Marmara University. Accordingly, students subject to a midterm exam and a final exam. Midterm 40%, final exam 60% weighted. The student must have at least DD letter grade in a course to be successful
Graduation Requirements
Students must have successfully completed all courses and studdents must have get 2.00 over 4.00 GPA to graduate. In addition the graduation condition, students must have for 30 working days internship to complete their training. To be completed his internship

Facilities
Foreign Trade lessons are held classrooms in Vocational School building, located in Beyazit . In addition, our school has a fully equipped computer lab, students use presentation projection equipment.

1 Defining the basic concepts related to the economy, law, business, accounting and foreign trade
2 Understanding the use of delivery and payment methods;preparing documents used in foreign trade transactions
3 Comprehending basic concepts of mathematics, commercial mathematics and statistics
4 Understanding Turkish cambio regulation, preparing the documents used in banking and cambio, writing the basic business better
5 Being aware of customs legislation in Turkey, preparing required documents and pursuing the customs transactions
6 Recognizing Turkish export-import regulation, the concepts of international transportation-logistics, understanding transport regulations and international conventions; preparing the transportation documents, knowing e-trade operations
7 Implementing foreign trade transactions via computer software; being able to use a foreign language for international trade
8 Understanding and analyzing the methods of foreign trade financing, knowing trade operations in free zones
9 Analyzing marketing strategies for international trade, comprehending international trade risks, analysis of international monetary relations and capital markets
10 Being aware of the importance of quality and standards in foreign trade,to know insurance operations in foreign trade and tax practices
