History
In the academic year 1984-1985, as one of the basic academic programmes the students began to take within the college. Students who graduate from the program can work in private sector firms' sales department, marketing department, marketing research department, advertising department, advertising and public relations agencies, media companies, chain stores, e-commerce companies, tourist agencies, hotel companies, banks and customer service departments of various companies.
Qualification Awarded
Pre-Bachelor's Degree in Marketing is awarded to the graduates who have successfully fulfilled all programme requirements.
Specific Admission Requirements
After high scholl graduation, managing the university entrance exam, students can successfully get into the program.
Specific Arrangements For Recognition Of Prior Learning (Formal, Non-Formal and Informal)
Transfer students are exempt from classes if the content and the credit of the classes are the same.
Qualification Requirements and Regulations
The program consists of 2 years, 4 semesters. Totally, there are34 courses and internships. 25 of these courses compulsory and 8 elective course. Register of course curriculum, practice, all the requirements of an internship at Marmara University as Associate and Bachelor of Education-According to the provisions of the Education and Examination Regulations and Grade Point Avarege (GPA) 2.00 or higher to successfully complete the qualification requirements and rules that are high.

Marketing, is one of the basic functions of businesses in this area and marketing program established on the grounds of qualified human resources needed today by the current course schedule (content) with the market looking for presents of human resources.Students who graduate from the program can work in private sector firms' sales department, marketing department, marketing research department, advertising department, advertising and public relations agencies, media companies, chain stores, e-commerce companies, tourist agencies, hotel companies, banks and customer service departments of various companies and a range of work in the field of marketing, such as taking the opportunity to work in the public domain in the KPSS test the current points. Graduates can work as an administrator, responsible, specialist or staff in these fields.

Access to Further Studies
Students who are completed the program and complete the requirements of the graduation have a right to enroll DGS. According to their score in this exam, they may attend to four year colleges and vocational schools which appeared in the exam book. They exempt from the courses that they already took during their two-year education in terms of content and credit.
Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading
Each course has two exams, i.e final exam and midterm. The average depends on the ratio of the midterm is 40 % and the final 60 %. 40 % of the midterm exam and 60 % of the final exam must be minimum 50.
Graduation Requirements
Register of course curriculum, practice, all the requirements of an internship at Marmara University as Associate and Bachelor of Education-According to the provisions of the Education and Examination Regulations and Grade Point Avarege (GPA) 2.00 or higher to successfully graduate.

Facilities
Computer lab., housing are included. By means of symposiums and congresses, spekaers are invited to our faculty and students have the chance of chasing the developments in practice as well as in theory.

1 To have information about economics, business management and basic finance and to apply them to marketing field.
2 To have information about business management, business psychology and human resources management and processes.
3 To have information about basic law, commercial law and marketing regulation and to apply them to national and international marketing.
4 To have information about general mathematics, computer, statistics and to use of them in the statistical research methods
5 To have information about general accounting, cost accounting, management accounting and mathematics and to calculate of costs in the all of sales processes.
6 Analysing the consumer behaviour and organizing the customer relations.
7 To have information about marketing communication techniques, public relations, new product and brand and to contribute organization image based on principles of marketing.
8 To have information about marketing research, statistical research methods, to interpret to results of research, to contribute to development marketing strategy.
9 To have information about sales management, sales techniques and store management and to apply them in the retailing sector.
10 To have information about supply chain management and to apply them in the national and international marketing field, to apply them based on principles of marketing.
11 Developing and applying marketing and sales strategies in the electronic marketing field.
12 To have information about retail sector and store/non-store retailing strategies and to apply all of them in the national and international marketing field.
13 To have the ability speaking, understanding and writting English in the retailing sector, import- export operations and non-store and store point of sale.
14 To have information about principles of environmental marketing, to contribute to development environmental marketing strategies and to contribute the development advertising and public relations campaings for consumer consciousness.
15 Contribute to develop marketing techniques on the computer for electronic marketing.
16 Analysing international markets and to contribute to apply international marketing strategies.
