History
Vocational School of Technical Sciences has been established by the decision of the Council dated 23 January 1991, depending on the Rectorate of Marmara University. Electronics Communication Technology Program is take part of Technical Programs Department since its establishment within the school.

Specific Admission Requirements
In accordance with the results of the examination, LYS, organized by OSYM (The student selection and placement center), students can register to our department. In addition, the graduates of Vocational High School can directly register to our department. Besides acceptance requirements mentioned above, at the beggining of third semester, students can make a transfer from relevant departments of other higher education institutions.
Specific Arrangements For Recognition Of Prior Learning (Formal, Non-Formal and Informal)
Higher Education Institution Transfer Regulations is applied to the students who wants to do undergraduate transfer to our programs.

Qualification Requirements and Compliance to Regulations are enacted by YOK (The Council Of Higher Education) in Turkey.
Profile of The Programme
The wide range of jobs in this program, students learn the basic principles of electronics, electronic equipment assembly, maintenance and repair in the field of communications , using the measuring instruments, and use computers and CAD / CAM and other similar programs, drawing and reading the electronic circuit schematic, and GSM technologies , digital and analog communications equipment, to be able to maintenance and repair as necessary , to prepare technical reports, preparing projects, how to provide workplace and employees' job security in the operating table.
Occupational Profiles of Graduates With Examples
Electronic Communication Program graduate students find jobs as helpful staff on research and development services of the public and private companies that produce equipment in the field of communication of country.
Access to Further Studies
With examination DGS organized by OSYM , Graduate students can continue to undergraduate programs like Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering and Electrical -Electronics Engineering .
Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading
40% of Mid-term exam and 60% final exam give grade point averages. Relative evaluation system is applied in accordance with the " Associate and Bachelor Degree Education and Examination Regulations of Marmara University”
Graduation Requirements
To complete successfully all the requirements of registered course such as curriculum, implementation, training and internship accordance with the provisions of “Associate and Bachelor Degree Education and Examination Regulations of Marmara University” and at least 2.0 grade point average.

Facilities
Electronic CommunicationsTechnology Program has a one laboratory. Also, 2 computer labs, Electronics Laboratory and the Biomedical Laboratory of the TBMYO are used. In our department, there is 10 academic staff :,3 assistant professor, 2 dr , 2 lecturer and a 3 research assistant
