History
Department of Political History &International Relations of Middle East was established in 1992 at Institute of Middle East Studies of Marmara University. Deparment established for Middle east arena's political and international events.

Students are accepted from candidates with an undergraduate education program. In general, without limitation of area, particularly in the social sciences and other areas with a bachelor's degree students are accepted into the program.

Profile of The Programme
Department of Middle east Political and İnternational relationship Master program includes courses relevant to political structure of Middle Eastern countries (Iraq, Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, Israel) relations among these countries and regional languages (Arabic, Persian).
Occupational Profiles of Graduates With Examples
Graduates can work at national and international institutions. They can be appointed to universities as research assistants and lecturers. They can work at private organizations. Students that gain pedagogic formation can work as history teachers at educational institutions.
Access to Further Studies
Graduate students from Department of Middle east political history and international relationship, can access to further studies in all institues all across Turkey. they can access to history, Poitical History and international relationship departments.
Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading
The aim of the program is to bring intellectual perspective in candidates who are studying in the program and during the assessment and evaluation process this target is also considered. Within the framework of Marmara University’s legislation related to education, mid-term exam, project work, presentations, and final exam is done with assessment and evaluation. Graduation Requirements
According to Marmara University’s legislation related to education the candidate should fulfill the conditions foreseen in the examination regulation of Institute for Middle Eastern Studies and should defence his thesis, which is prepared by taking into account the qualifications required by the regulations, in front of the jury.
