Profile of The Programme
The concept of design can only be comprehended within the context of aesthetic, technical, economical and social factors. Since all these can be achieved within multidisciplinary approach, they require teamwork and are based on scientific and technical knowledge. The task of developing new technologies and information into rational use for people is impressive and challenging. This makes the industrial product designers to be active with their individuality in forming the future world. To be able to meet these requirements, an education program that can train students in the mentioned context is established. Product Design and Presentation Techniques studios are compulsory in this program. The aim of the program is to evaluate and develop the theories and practices in industrial product design area. To reach this aim, the program makes the student conscious of the unifying characteristic of Industrial Product Design. The students can choose between elective courses, like Design Theory, Design Management, Material Production Techniques, 20th Century Design History. They can complete their master education with a written thesis in areas like methodology, management, user/human factors/ergonomics, education, culture/theory.
Occupational Profiles of Graduates With Examples
