General Description ^
History
Obstetric and Gynecology Department of Nursing master's program was established in 2004. Our Department of reproductive health, nursing care research is working on the fields of perinatology and gynecology. The purpose of the department of reproductive health, perinatology and gynecology nurse to train experts in the fields. Scientist for a long-term training programs to train as a doctorate.
Qualification Awarded
Students who successfully complete the program are win the title of Obstetrics and Gynecology Nursing expert.
Specific Admission Requirements
Having graduated from university, School of Nursing. ( School of Nursing, Nursing /Midwifery department of Health High School , Nursing / Midwifery Department of Faculty Health Sciences, Faculty of Nursing). Academic Personnel and Graduate Entrance Examination (ALES) test on 60 and take notes. To be successful in Scientific evaluation and interview.
Specific Arrangements For Recognition Of Prior Learning (Formal, Non-Formal and Informal)
Having graduated from university, School of Nursing. ( School of Nursing, School of Nursing Department of Health, Health High School of Midwifery department, Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Nursing, Midwifery Department, Faculty of Health Sciences, Faculty of Nursing).
Qualification Requirements and Regulations
Program consist of 12 units (compulsory / elective) courses and a term project. Students must take at least 30 credits. The program is 60 ECTS credits in total .The student are evaluated by using visa, final exam, reports, assignments, seminars and presentations. Student's grade for the course to be successful must be at least 65. Student must submit a final project to Institute of health sciences.
Profile of The Programme
To explain the basic concepts and the research areas in this program to Obstetrics and Gynecology Nursing Program's students. Obstetrics and Gynecology Nursing Program's students are taught reproductive health, family planning, competency based assessment and total quality management techniques. Obstetrics and Gynecology Nursing Program's students are taught the basic areas of research, is to allow students to conduct project research on their own topic. İt is preparation for a PhD.
Occupational Profiles of Graduates With Examples
Nurses with a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) Degree on Obstetric and Gynecology nurse can serve as clinical nurse specialists or nursing managers in public hospitals, university hospitals or private hospitals. Besides, they can further advance their academic careers in nursing, midwifery or health officers departments in Obstetric and Gynecology Nursing Departments at Faculties of Medical Science or Schools of Nursing
Access to Further Studies
Graduates who successfully completed the Master's Degree, and by taking note ALES valid, providing English language competence, may apply to doctorate programmes in the Obstetric and Gynecology Nursing or in related disciplines.
Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading
Students are required to take a mid-term examination and/or complete other assigned projects/homework during the semester and, additionally, are required to take a final examination and/or complete a final project for course evaluation. The final grade is based on the mid-term examination grade, the final examination grade and/or evaluation of final project, with the contributions of 40% and 60%, respectively. To pass any course, a Master's student must receive at least 65 out of 100. Students must repeat courses they have failed or may substitute courses the Department accepts as equivalent. The assessment for each course is described in detail in “Individual Course Description”.
Graduation Requirements
Graduation requirements, "Qualification Requirements and Guidelines", as described in the section. The programme consists of a minimum of on courses delivered within the graduate programme of the department and in related fields, one seminar course, and a term project, with a minimum of 30 local credits. The seminar course and ia term projects are non-credit and graded on a pass/fail basis. A student may take uppergraduate courses on the condition that the courses have not been taken during the undergraduate program. However, at most two of these courses may be counted to the Master's course load and credits. Students must register for a term project work and the Specialization Field course offered by his supervisor every semester following the semester, in which the supervisor is appointed. A student who has completed work on the a term project within the time period, must write a term project, using the data collected, according to the specifications of the Graduate School Thesis Writing Guide. It has to deliver to their supervisor. A term Project is presented to institude with the approval of supervisior.

The department has application laboratories and library. National and international level will be possible to interfere for support in this program to Obstetrics and Gynecology Nursing Program's students. Students will receive a lesson from different disciplines.
