Graduate program in nursing education; advanced practice skills in education, improving the quality of care and health care environments, exchange started / role model who has extensive knowledge and skills of nursing, clinical nursing care and education planning, programming, implementing and evaluating the intellectual and professional nurses to train established in the 2005-2006 academic year.

Specific Admission Requirements
Be in accordance with the Regulation on Graduate Education at Marmara University. 4-year School of Nursing, Nursing Department of Health Sciences Faculty, Nursing Faculty degree program to be completed. Academic Personnel and Graduate Entrance Exam (ALES) at least 60 to get the numeric field, the scientific assessment and interview to be successful. The interview is over 100 points in the note. 50% of the level of ALES score, 20% of lisans grade point, 15% of the assessment of professional knowledge and interview 15% of the sum of the grade.

Admitted to this program, students must have completed graduated licence in nursing program. This programs are School of Nursing, School of Health, Faculty of Health Science, Faculty of Nursing.

Profile of The Programme
To aims graduate program in Nursing Education, to adopt lifelong learning and to perform education nursing skills as a professional. Master's program philosophy is to prepare nurses for the roles of trainers. Students in the program, specific to chosen field of expertise provides a broad foundation of knowledge, competence and confidence needed to develop applications.
Occupational Profiles of Graduates With Examples
The graduate program at the end of college graduates, public and private hospitals as in-service training coordinator and patient educator, health protective areas as health educator, student nurses can be employed as an academic teacher. Graduates develop a training program for target groups in different environments, implementation, evaluation, and takes a leading role in integrating the health care system.
Access to Further Studies
Graduates from this program in nursing graduate education, if they receive enough points in ALES and foreign language education in nursing or a related field may apply to the Ph.D. program in other areas.
Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading
In general, in-year assessments (Midterm exam, Homework, Project, etc.) 40%, year-end assessments (Final exam, Homework, Project, etc.) within 60% passing grade is determined by taking the year. To be successful in any course must take at least 65 out of 100. Students who fail must take lessons again. To be successfull present of prepared master's thesis in front of jury
Graduation Requirements
The program provided a total of not less than 21 credits at least seven courses, a seminar course and thesis work. Students of compulsory and elective courses each semester course makes the selection. In case the board of directors to approve the programs of the institute of higher education institutions in other courses can be selected. Are non-credit seminar course and thesis are evaluated as successful or unsuccessful. Master's thesis prepared by students writing a thesis according to the rules of the institute concerned must prepare and defend it orally before a jury. Dissertation thesis exam, the jury accepted, rejected, or correction can decide. The student whose thesis is correct decision, in accordance with recommendations no later than three months in editing the thesis argues that the jury again.

There are computer, internet access, ScienceDirect and ProQuest, PubMed, etc. access to scientific data bases. İn addition training nurses have the opportunity to practice in private and public hospitals. In addition, students conduct research, project and attend scientific meetings, seminars and conferences with the interests.
