It is aimed to give information about the rules of German grammar.

Learning Outcomes
1 The student is acquainted with separable and unseparable verbs and reflexive verbs.
2 The student is aware of the conjugation of regular and irregular verbs and the declension of nouns and personal and possessive pronouns.
3 The student is able to relate the parts of a sentence to one other and form a main clause.
4 The student is skilled in the analysis of a simple sentence.
5 The student is aware of the different kinds of words and parts of a sentence in the German language.
6 Students will learn about German grammatical terminology.

Course Contents
This course covered the kinds of words of the German language and elements of the sentence, the declension types of substantives, the use of articles, the declension of personal pronouns and possessive pronouns, conjugation of verbs with regard to all tenses and different verb groups like separable, unseparable and reflexive verbs and the analysing of simple sentences. In addition, the rules system in the German language will be described with the appropriate terminology and the German language grammar rules will be resolved with examples.
