In this course, it is aimed to give knowledge of German word formation and word analysis

1 Students will be familiar with the function of prefixes and suffixes in German word formation.
2 Students will have the ability to explain the differences between “composition” and “derivation”, two methods of German word formation.
3 Students will be able to make morpheme analyses in German.
4 Students will will be able to explain the concepts of morph and morpheme in word analysis.
5 The student will have information about methods of word formation in German.
