Objectives of the Course
The objectives of this course are to emphasize the importance of Career Orientation, Planning and Implementation to the Engineering Candidates and to focus on the related Strategic Issues and Mechanics.
Learning Outcomes
1 To evaluate how crucial are interpersonal relations and interactions along with the Behavioral Styles and Profiles in Career Orientation-related Interviews, Employment, Promotions, Stability/Diversification.
2 To ask the Basic Questions as (Should? How? Where? When? Why? What? Who/Whom to/with?) of the Career Strategy and compensate for the related Deficiencies,
3 To decide on either one of Specialization or Diversity,
4 To cope with Uncertainties, Barriers, Threats and Crises,
5 To differentiate between Career Planning and Job Finding,
6 To grasp the importance of Conscious Awareness of own and others' Core Competences,
7 By the end of the course, the students should be able to understand how vital is their Career and the related Orientation, Planning and Implementation to their Private and Professional Lives,
