Objectives of the Course
A study of ethical problems in business and the foundations for decisions involving ethical issues, with emphasis on ethical decision making for engineers. Students will be expected to engage in critical thinking in analyzing a variety of ethical situations. Topics include ethical reasoning, integrity, objectivity; independence, individual conscience, loyalty and responsibility conflict, as they impact on the ethical decision making process in the functional areas of business.
