Objectives of the Course
The objective of the course is to introduce the theory, computation, and application of deterministic and linear operations research models.
Learning Outcomes
1 Be able to use optimization packages to solve problems when necessary
2 Analyse and interpret the solutions of the model for optimal decisions
3 Use the right solution approaches to solve the model
4 Develop a mathematical model of the problem
5 Be able to define decision problems encountered in the practice
